Detroit Media Partnership Adds Jobs To Open Local Consumer Solutions Center

The new, technically advanced call center will handle all customer service questions for readers of The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press, including the newspapers’ electronic editions and web sites. The center will also serve readers of the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus and other products managed by Detroit Media Partnership.

"We’re also using this opportunity to raise the level of technology we use to find solutions to customer problems," Ellwood said. "For example, the center will be capable of communicating with readers by whatever medium they find most convenient: phone, email, live chat or on social media, such as Facebook and Twitter."

The center, available at 1-800-395-3300, will be staffed:
- 8 a.m. 5 p.m.
- 6 a.m. 5 p.m.
- 7 a.m.
