The agreement is intended to give Air France employees fast access to productivity tools no matter where they are based, speed response to service requests, and simplify management of IT resources – enabling the airline to focus internal IT personnel on supporting business operations and enhancing passenger service.
One of the world’s largest airlines, Air France flies more than 71 million passengers to 183 destinations in 98 countries every year, in addition to providing cargo flights and aircraft maintenance.
"Air France is in a service business, and our success depends on delivering better service than anyone else to our passengers, employees and business partners," said Ghislain Colas Des Francs, IT desktop service director, Air-France KLM Group. "Unisys will help our employees maintain those high levels of service worldwide by giving them access to the IT resources that they need. This is a challenging task, but Unisys’ services expertise and commitment to innovation make it the ideal partner to provide the comprehensive support we need for our business mission."
